At Top of The Standard’s legendary Boom Boom Room, Desta orchestrated experiences that became cultural touchstones, CFDA Awards celebrations, MET Gala gatherings, and intimate soirées that quietly set the tone for New York’s social landscape.

Most recently, as Director of Cultural Engagement at Fotografiska New York, Desta transformed the museum’s hospitality vision into reality, creating Chapel Bar and Veronika restaurant as cultural catalysts where art, hospitality, and human connection converge.
